Scottsdale, AZ — October 7, 2022 — Women, men, aspiring designers, lovers of all things fashion, and community members passionate about making a difference will gather October 14 at Scottsdale Fashion Square for TGen’s 2nd Annual Runway for Research

The event, presented by the TGen Foundation in partnership with Neiman Marcus and Scottsdale Fashion Square, brings our community together, celebrates women’s cancer survivorship, and inspires hope while raising critical funds for women’s cancer research at the Translational Genomics Research Institute (TGen), part of City of Hope.  This inspirational celebration is especially notable as TGen celebrates its 20-year Anniversary in the community.

The two-hour show turns Fashion Square’s Luxury Wing into a runway, where guests receive a first-class experience while treating themselves to an insider's preview to the latest fall fashions showcased by dozens of models.

“This year’s show promises a rich and exciting experience,” says event co-chair Vicki Vaughn. “There’s no better way to kick off the fall season than to participate in an event that provides a sneak peek into the latest fashions while supporting a great cause: research that helps overcome women’s cancers.”

Tickets are $1,000 for the VIP Experience (which includes two premium seats and a VIP-only raffle) or $175 per Fashionista seat.

Complimentary valet parking will be available at the east entrance to Neiman Marcus, facing Goldwater Boulevard. The two-hour event, featuring champagne and hors d'oeuvres, starts at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, October 14.

“This event has a significant positive impact on TGen's work in women's cancers as the dollars raised support TGen's transformational work in precision medicine, the results of which benefit patients both locally and nationally," said Erin Massey, Chief Development Officer at TGen, and Vice President of Philanthropy at City of Hope. “We are very grateful to our Runway for Research co-chairs Bijen Dyrek and Vicki Vaughn, Neiman Marcus and Scottsdale Fashion Square, and our sponsors for their commitment and energy toward making this year’s event a great success.”
