Janita Pickett-Gordon is an active advocate for science education and a thoughtful relationship builder who has served the Phoenix philanthropic community for more than 20 years. As senior director of individual giving for the TGen Foundation, Janita supports institutional priorities focused on emerging opportunities across the spectrum of TGen’s research.
Her work in philanthropy prior to joining the TGen Foundation includes development leadership for the College of Science at the University of Arizona where she was responsible for building new business opportunities in targeted geographical areas. Janita has also served in senior development roles for the Girl Scouts of the USA, the Girl Scouts Arizona Cactus-Pine Council, the Arizona Community Foundation and Arizona State University Foundation among others. She is an alumna of the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse with Bachelor of Science degrees in both Political Science and Public Administration.
