Camron Cozzi: No One Fights Alone

Camron Cozzi: No One Fights Alone

On December 22, 2015, after being treated for a lacrosse concussion, Camron was diagnosed with DIPG — Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma and given 2 months to live. After decisions were made to seek both mainstream and alternative treatments, Camron fought his battle for 27 months.

On March 10, 2018, Camron’s 18th birthday, he met his heavenly Father with angels surrounding him.

He is forever free of the horrific disease that took his life far too soon. He was the most amazing son to Cyndi and Paul, and brother to Jordan. He may have not been large in stature, but his heart and soul were enormous, filled with love and laughter for everyone he met.

Camron was a senior at Bonney Lake High School. Camron loved playing lacrosse for his high school Panthers and select team Maniax. Camron was fortunate to have many friends from the surrounding communities he met through wrestling, basketball, Little League Baseball, junior football, and lacrosse.

And it was his community that gave him the strength to fight with the mantra: No one fights alone.

Camron’s wish was that no child be taken from their parents. Team Cozzi Foundation was established to honor Camron’s fight and help move the needle to find a cure for DIPG.
