Peggy Wolfe was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the summer of 2009.  She has been in the caring hands of Dr. Daniel Von Hoff and Gayle Jameson, Nurse Practitioner these last five years at TGen.

Peggy devoted her professional life to teaching and worked for many years as a reading specialist for Pendergast Elementary School District in Phoenix.  Personally, her passing came one day shy of her tenth wedding anniversary to her devoted husband.  Peggy's pride and joy were her two adult children and she doted on her four grandchildren.  She loved holidays and playing board games with her siblings and her many nieces and nephews.  An artist at heart, Peggy spent much of her time quilting and crafting gifts for her family.  She and her husband Steve fostered rescue dogs until they could find a good home.  But most importantly, Peggy will be remembered by her family and friends as the most gentle, caring, and funny woman they are ever likely to meet.  She loved unconditionally, gave without question, and charmed everyone she met with her delightful sense of humor.

Her family is forever in the debt of the doctors, nurses and researchers at TGen for the extra time they were given to hold her close.  The family would deeply appreciate any donation to the wonderful work being done in the effort to cure pancreatic cancer.
