Michael (Mike) Wayne Richardson of Staunton, Virginia, left for heaven on Sunday, January 8, 2006 after being confronted with an aggressive and rare type of cancer, adrenocortical carcinoma.
Mike loved people! He loved being around people, talking with people, sharing what he had with people, making people laugh. Mike loved people! To him, no one was a stranger.
Mike loved his mother. He devoted his last nine years on earth as her primary caregiver. The family will not forget his devotion to her or his "can do" attitude for her.
Mike's family loved him. We loved his zest for life and his witty spirit. We are grateful to God for all of the years that He allowed Mike to be part of our family. We know that we will see him again.
