Mary ultimately lost her 6 month battle with Neuroendocrine cancer on August 16, 2014. Though one of the most difficult times of their life together, it was also a time that drew Mary and John, her husband, closer than ever. Mary was incredibly brave and unwavering in her trust in and love for the Lord.
They were grateful for the help of TGen in conjunction with her physician in their attempts to find a suitable treatment for this difficult cancer. Although Mary lost her battle, the research being done at TGen may someday help win it for others.
