Marlene Lyons, of Phoenix AZ passed away at the age of 59 on December 2, 2009 after a courageous and hard fought battle against pancreatic cancer. She was at peace in the arms of Gary, her loving husband of 28 years. Marlene was born in Hamtramck, MI on October 24, 1950, and moved to Phoenix in 1998. A registered nurse for over 30 years, she was a selfless and devoted person who helped care for others right up until her final moments here on earth. In addition to husband Gary in Phoenix, Marlene is survived by our extended family in Michigan; son Drew and wife Janine, son Craig and wife Cyndy, son Deron, brothers Bob, Alan, and Eric, sister Marsha, and our 6 beloved grandchildren, Ethan, Avery, Raegan, Kendyl, Nate, and Elliot. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched so lovingly.
