Glenn A. Oestreich was born September 9, 1952 and died on August 29, 2009, just several days short of his birthday. Glenn was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on July 17 and died just 6 weeks later.

Glenn was a cheerful and hardworking man who dearly loved his family and friends. He enjoyed nothing as much as visiting with friends and discussing their mutual hobbies. He was a railroad buff who loved to "chase" trains and take pictures of them, not to mention also collecting train memorabilia. He collected and built small model engines, which was part of "show and tell" with his Saturday morning breakfast buddies. But the hobby he really loved was collecting and restoring antique tractors and exhibiting them at shows.

Glenn was a kindhearted person who was always willing to help a friend, a neighbor or a brother in need. He always remembered his parents who lived in a different state with phone calls and cards on birthdays and holidays. He said he had three families; his parents, brothers' and other relatives, his co-workers, and his buddies in the tractor clubs. He loved his Lord and is waiting for us in Heaven.

In loving memory of our son, Glenn.
