My husband, David, was a wonderful man. He was the type of person who didn't dwell on the negative. At work, he tried to figure out solutions that would benefit all parties involved. He was well loved by his associates and his competitors. He was fun, funny, honorable, compassionate and kind as well as a hard worker. Basically, everyone liked him.
He developed lymphoma when our children were 13, 10, and 6 years old. Over the almost six years he had lymphoma, he remained upbeat and encouraging. David was a keen advocate for himself. He researched so many treatments -- older ones and the latest cutting edge technologies.
It is a blessing to support TGen because both of us felt and I still feel that this type of research will find a cure for cancer as well as other diseases.
