Robert "Bob" Noel Dodds, 64, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully on Monday December 19th, 2016 at his home.

Bob was born December 20th, 1951 in Livermore, CA to Marjorie and Doug Steele. Bob grew up spending his time camping, hunting, fishing, and taking pride in his animals in the Northern California hills, which were his greatest joys.  Bob always had a love for the great outdoors and nature.

Bob graduated from Livermore High School in 1970, and went to work in his passions of HVAC, carpentry, and electrical trades with Hexcel Skis, Intel, and ARCA.  I think it's safe to say Bob was one of the hardest working men we knew.

Bob was loyal, kind, compassionate, big hearted, and always loved a good laugh.  There was nothing he loved more than his family.

Bob is survived by his wife Tanya Dodds, his son, Brett Dodds and four grandchildren Kyle, Kaulana, Saige and Briez; his daughter Jackie Dodds; his daughter Jamie Monty and son-in-law Jason Monty, and his two grandchildren, Jayse and Jules; his daughter Bobbie Richard and his son-in-law Steven Richard, and three grandchildren, Adriana, Lauren, and Cruz; his stepson Jarred Scheffler, his wife Shannon and two grandchildren, Aria and Elis; his stepson Justin Scheffler; and his siblings Judy Runquist, Nancy Faaoso and Rick Steele.

A memorial service will be held at French's Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM at 11:30am on Friday, January 6, 2017.  Followed by a "Celebration of Life" at Los Cuates at 4901 Lomas Blvd Albuquerque, NM from 1:30pm to 3:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions to be sent to support his grandson "Jayse Monty at Jayse's Mito Rascals" research fund for Mitochondrial Disease.  Please indicate your gift of donation is in memory of Bob Dodds.

Your donation to honor a loved one in our memorial program is important to furthering the institute's mission to develop earlier diagnoses and smarter treatments for patients. All gifts at every level make a difference!
