Knowledge Mining and Bioinformatics Lab

The Knowledge Mining and Bioinformatics Lab is focused on the extraction of biological understanding and knowledge from high-throughput datasets. We employ a number of different bioinformatics tools and strategies to assist in knowledge extraction. The work of this laboratory is utilized throughout the pharmaceutical division to assist in data analysis and the generation of new hypotheses for further experimental testing.

Current Projects:

1. Prior knowledge extraction on drug resistance pathways associated with cancer chemotherapeutics.

2. Knowledge mining on high-throughput RNAi data.
