NAAR Autism Genome Project Video News Release
Autism is one of the most baffling disorders known to medical researchers – it affects more than 400,000 American children - and despite more than two decades of study, there is still little clue as to what causes it. The largest-ever study of the affliction was launched today by the National Alliance for Autism Research, and locally, TGen and the Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center have joined the worldwide effort to use a new technology that may finally provide clues into the genetic causes of autism.
